Articles and Essays  |  Student Essays

1. You must be at least 13 years old to submit an article (at least 300 words) or a student essay (at least 250 words) that is ready for publication.  (Essays from students through the 12th grade are listed in Student Patriots with an additional link in the Articles / Essays' Index page for 30 days.)

   Only for Teachers and Students' Parents

   • Submissions by students in high school and lower grade levels will be listed in Student Patriots.

   • Essays from students 12 years old and under can be submitted by parents or teachers, respectively, with the student's name and grade.  Email student's essay as an attachment in text or Word format with a brief explanation instead of submitting via the form below.  (Teachers can submit multiple essays as attachments via one email.)  Only the first name of the student will be listed unless the parent allows otherwise.

2. Subject matter must be positive in nature as the purpose is expressing one's love of the United States of America whether it is about a person, place, item, and etc.  (Political and partisan references cannot be included.)
   
   Here are a few article / essay ideas that might apply to you...

   • a great American and his / her contributions to the USA (Political leaders are included, but only about non-political and non-partisan efforts associated with elected and other notable efforts.)

   • Something about American history ... e.g. Revolutionary War, the founding fathers,  the wild west,

   • a favorite national holiday and why

   • a vacation / trip experience that instills love and pride of America

   • a memorable event while serving in one of the military service

   • participating in an event related to a national holiday or another noble patriotic purpose

   • a tribute to a fallen hero

   • a son, father, husband, daughter, mother, wife, or other loved one in the military serving in harms way

   • a loved one who served in the military during World War II, Korean War, or Vietnam War and received one or more medals for heroism

   • a combat story involving you or loved one

   • a heroic effort by a firefighter, policeman, or another person in homeland security

   • a child doing something special with the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, other youth organization, or individually

3. Any negative comments / attacks (even indirectly) against any person, place, and/or country will result in article not being listed.

4. All links to sites within the article / essay must open in a new window (target=_blank)

5. Plagiarism will result in immediate removal of article / essay.

6. Articles without images must be submitted by the form below.

7. Articles with images

   • Submit via email in text or Word format with images (jpeg format only) attached to email and not embedded with article.
   • Must include all the information as required via the submission form
   • Email Verification Process... USA Patriotism! requires email verification to guard against spam, which means a first time email will result in an email from USA Patriotism! requesting you to reply to it before your submission can be received.

Use Permission and Non Removal Policy
Since the respective copyright owner (author, producer, photographer, or legal representative) grants use permission upon submission of their creative work (article, poem, story, song, video, photo, graphic, and/or other), they cannot be removed from USA Patriotism! once listed.

Listing Period
A listing usually occurs within two weeks, but at times might require a longer period.

Verifying Listing

• Initial submission... Notification will be emailed with the USA Patriotism! Contributor's badge (see sample above) for display on your site.

• Additional submission... Check via Search and/or by browsing the respective section at USA Patriotism!
