1. You must be at least 13 years old to submit a poem on your own.

   • Submissions by students in high school and lower grade levels will be listed in Student Patriots and Patriotic Poems.

   • Poems from students 12 years old and under can be submitted by parents or teachers, respectively, with the student's name and grade.  Email poem as an attachment in text or Word format with a brief explanation instead of submitting via the form below.

     • Only teachers can submit multiple poems by their students as attachments via one email.

     • Only the first name of the student will be listed unless the parent allows otherwise.

     • Email Verification Process... USA Patriotism! requires email verification to guard against spam, which means a first time email will result in an email from USA Patriotism! requesting you to reply to it before your submission can be received.

2. You must provide your first and last name for poem to be listed and copyright protection purposes.

3. No poem will be listed that is considered only for individuals 18 years and older, as USA Patriotism! is an all ages site.

4. Poem is reviewed for intent and content . . . And must be positive in nature as the purpose is expressing one's love and pride of the United States of America whether it is about a person, place, item, and etc . . . Poems that attack or comment negatively, even indirectly, against any person, place, and/or America will not be listed . . . and should be submitted at Poetry Galore, sister site of USA Patriotism!

5. Plagiarism and copyright infringement will result in immediate removal.

6. English is the only version accepted.

7. All CAPS are not allowed . . . Poem submitted in this manner will not be listed.

8. Use "and" instead of "&" in poem.

Use Permission and Non Removal Policy
Since the respective copyright owner (author, producer, photographer, or legal representative) grants use permission upon submission of their creative work (article, poem, story, song, video, photo, graphic, and/or other), they cannot be removed from USA Patriotism! once listed.

Listing Period
Poems are usually listed in 4 to 10 days, but at times might require a longer period.  Also, poems are listed in the most applicable category, which could be different than what was selected on the submission form.  (As of March 14, 2005, listing date is included.)

Verifying Initial Listing
Notification will be by emailed with the USA Patriotism! along with a Contributor's badge (see sample above) for display on your site.  You poem will also be listed on the Recent Listings page.

Submitting Another Poem
If you have one or more poems already listed and are uncertain of which ones they are . . . then Search for them via your first and last names to make sure you are not resubmitting the same poem.  You can also search via the title of the additional poem and your name.  Note... Since you will not receive an email notifying you after the first poem's listing . . . checking the Recent Listings page after 10 days of submission should result in finding it there with it likely being listed before then.  (You can also use the Search feature at the top of each page and/or by browsing the categories.)
