A Volunteer | |
|
Now many have come
And many have died
Many have paid the ultimate price
They sacrificed their own life
To fight for what is right
Although fear looks them in the eye
They still make the decision to fight
Even if it means they will die
They are willing to make the sacrifice
They know the dangers
They know the price
They know that for America to survive
Someone must rise and take command
They carry their gun in both hands
As they march through the sand
Putting their faith and life in God’s hand
Securing the freedom of every American
Though I have not met them
Nor I may never know them
I thank God every day
For these brave men and women
For they made the decision
To be a part of a mission
To help guarantee our future existence
They conquered fear
They are each a volunteer | By Joshua Reyer
