Flowers For Heroes
(a nonprofit organization) volunteers place a flower at every headstone at
Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood Illinois on Veterans Day. The
remembrance ceremony also included comments by Governor Pat Quinn, Miss Illinois, Russ Phillip,
and Tony Cutrano ... with Joe Cantafio performing a beautiful song. And solemn
TAPs was played with a 21 gun
salute and Blackhawk Helicopter flyover.
